A wonderful painting of an aspect of the Circus of earlier times, 
with a circus atmosphere, acrobats on the high trapeze. Danger lurks, and the Raven serves as metaphor. 

Also, the clown in the black suit and the top hat seems to stretch with legs of plastic towards the two 
flyers.  Elephants walk in the center ring, carrying their lovely charges. A wonderful sense of space 

and atmosphere permeates the air above the center ring. The two acrobats may be lovers alluding to 

be caught at the peak of their talents on the high trapeze. FLY AWAY WITH ME  suggests tension 

and adventure on a grand scale high above the crowd, where the moments seem precious as the flyers

 must catch each other with their reaching hands. Time is suspended, as they swing and leap through

 the air high, high above the ring master. The viewer with the sharp eye will play out this game of love 

in his own imagination. Hoping that they will fly through the air with the greatest of ease, those flying 

young visions caught in an endless drama about to replay over and over. and only for a few moments 

each night.
